Wobbler Production – Die-Cutting & Finishing

Die-cutting is a specialized bookbinding process used to cut specific shapes out of paper, cardstock, or cardboard. This method allows for the creation of intricate designs that are impossible to achieve with a standard industrial paper cutter (guillotine).

The process uses a custom-made die, where the working part is a specially profiled steel blade. This blade is pressed with high force perpendicularly into the substrate using a dedicated machine known as a platen press (or die-cutting press).
